We; Eve, Claudia and Leo, are a small group of married and curious women and men, who met in this twilight world of consensual and nurturing sex.

We decided we would like to share our experiences, as we have come to find that there are many married adults out there who, for one reason or another have seen their sex lives dim. We’ve called the blog ‘Nurturing our Desires’ as we see this as different from an affair, in the traditional meaning.

Each of us has had several overlapping lovers, sometimes extending over several years.  This has rarely involved candlelit dinners or other elements of a traditional ‘affair’ – instead we have met others for sex. Sex in various forms…

We haven’t done this out of a desire to break up our marriages, and we’re not seeking love outside of our marriage. Instead we have close, trusting and satisfying friendships with others – centered on sex.  Eve refers to this as her paddock of lovers – having decided that stable of stallions was too constraining – she expects them to be out there having fun too!

This may appear to be on the fringes of society, and perhaps it is – however, we have found a plenty of others who spend time in our fringe. We intend to reflect this variety of perspectives and motives in this blog.

The purpose of our blog is to show others like us, that there are possibilities out here to reconnect with your sexual self. Several of us went without sex for years before we girded up our loins and dipped our toe into this pond.
